DETAILED DESCRIPTION
New to circuitmaker and I needed a small project to see how it all worked out.
And I wanted to build an oscillator for, well, basically just for fun... I haven't build one in a long time so I figured this needed to be the new project.
First off: Its not a nice schematic. I use the regulator improperly (it's getting very hot and I did not take a cooling plate into account), I use the switching mosfet in a way it influences the oscillator, the starting switch is not needed and there are a lot of other issues with project.
Don't use it as a study model of some sort.
BUT, it works.. so we've got that going..
And the LEDs are BRIGHT!! I keep forgetting how bright they are... Every single time..
The second edition of this print will feature a: http://nl.farnell.com/ledil/c11623-gt3-re-ww/luxeon-rebel-35mm-triple-optic/dp/1902097 But then I started thinking of doing everything properly. A colpits resonator, a proper (high efficiency) powersupply, but hey, we'll see...
