BIOS Firmware can control fan speeds based on temperature of T_IN, so we use NPN transistor and Arduino to fake a resistance value, so 60C is read on probe, and fans increase
Radeon LED is used as HDD activity LED, motherboard fan header set to DC mode generates 7V supply
Distribution board for (safe) 12V power for front panel LED power switch
Turbo button (like the old Pentium days) controls a 4 digit 7 segment I2C based display to show 33/66 Hz
Galaxy S3 smartphone is used on front panel to monitor temperatures, controlling the power switch of smart phone with opto-isolator aka optocoupler
