DETAILED DESCRIPTION
This is a simple ATMega 328p based light level sensor using a photo-resistor. It uses an ATMEGA328p-nu at its core in conjunciton with an TI SN74HC595N Shift register. Output is a common cathode 7-segment display.
This is the first project I have put together, and the first experiment with circuit maker. I'm still learning how to find the right parts in the library. So a few components may be wrong or wierd. I also had to create the 7-segment display as it didn't exist at all in the octopart library. I haven't created a footprint or a model for it.
It's probably horrible. It does however funtion on the bread board. Any criticism is welcome.
I'll attach the sketch I "think" is running on the mega. I say "think" because I lost some data files, but i'm fairly certain this is whats running the system.
