This is a simple small single-cell charger for Lithium Ion / Lithium-Polimer cells (batteries). Charge your small LiPo cells for use in wireless projects safely via any USB port or phone charger. Current limit up to 500mA enables fast charging of most small cells.

The STAT indicator output allows a bicolor LED to indicate charging, charge-complete, and battery not connected states. In this design, a RED LED lit indicates pre-conditioning, fast charging, and slow charging (altogether, "Charging") states, with a GREEN LED lit when charging is complete. If the charger cell is disconnected both LEDs will be lit showing amber.
